Meaning of Indigenous British
60. For the purposes of this constitution, a person is considered to be indigenous to the island of Great Britain:
- if he or she is at least 50 percent of English, Scottish and/or Welsh ethnicity;
- if he or she is of no more than 50 percent Dutch, German and/or Scandinavian ethnicity;
- if he or she is of no more than 25 percent European ethnicity (including Armenian, Irish and Russian ethnicity but excluding Dutch, English, German, Scandinavian, Scottish and Welsh ethnicity;
- if he or she is of no more than 12½ percent Arab, Australian Aborigine, Eskimo, Japanese, Nepalese, Pacific Islander and/or Persian ethnicity; and
- if he or she is of no more than 6¼ percent African, Gypsy, Jewish and/or Asian ethnicity (not including Arab, Australian Aborigine, Eskimo, Japanese, Nepalese, Pacific Islander or Persian ethnicity).
